My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families find healing and growth through compassionate, evidence-based care. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or a variety of other life transitions, my goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Performance & Mindset Support

Performance & Mindset Counseling, For the High Achiever Who’s Running on Empty

You’re driven, capable, and used to pushing through. But somewhere along the way, the pressure started feeling less like motivation and more like weight. Maybe you’re battling burnout, self-doubt, anxiety about performance, or just a nagging sense that you’re not operating at your best, even when everything looks fine from the outside.

This work is for athletes, executives, entrepreneurs, and high-performing professionals who want more than coping strategies. You want to understand what’s underneath, rebuild from the inside out, and perform with genuine confidence, not just grind harder.

Cody brings a rare combination to this work: years in high-stakes corporate environments at companies like Tesla and Salesforce, combined with clinical training as a Licensed Professional Counselor. He’s sat in the high-pressure seat. He knows what it costs. And he knows what it takes to get out of survival mode and back into clarity.

This isn’t sports psychology lite. It’s real therapeutic work, tailored for people who are used to being the ones everyone else leans on.

How do I get started? Can I talk to someone first?

Open our scheduling portal, select your location and clinician, then choose View Available Times to request an appointment.

If you would prefer a free 15-minute consultation, select a new-client appointment and write “Free 15-minute consultation” in the comments. The portal may display “Therapy Intake”; our team will confirm the consultation details with you.

Do you accept my insurance?

Polaris participates with several insurance plans, including Anthem/BCBS, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare/Optum. Network participation and benefits can vary by therapist and by your specific plan.

We are out of network with Cigna and do not accept Medicare. For other plans, see our insurance and payment information or contact us before scheduling.

For out-of-network care, we can provide a superbill to submit to your insurer. Reimbursement depends on your plan and is not guaranteed.

How much does therapy cost?

Our standard private-pay session fees are $150 for individual therapy and $160 for couples therapy. Sliding scale options may be available upon request.

If you use insurance, your cost depends on your coverage, deductible, copay, and coinsurance. We accept major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards. Contact our team about the fee for your specific appointment before you begin.

Where are your offices?

We have five offices across the Dayton and Cincinnati areas:

Each office page lists its therapists, address, and directions. Check your appointment confirmation for the location where your therapist will meet you.

Can I meet with a therapist online?

Yes. We offer online therapy for clients who are physically in Ohio during their sessions. Select Telehealth in the scheduling portal to explore available clinicians and appointment times.

You will need a private place to talk, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.

How do I choose a therapist?

Start with our Meet Our Team page. You can explore therapists by office and read about their approaches, experience, and areas of focus.

Consider what you want help with, the type of support you prefer, and which location or schedule works for you. If you are unsure, call us for help narrowing the options or request a free 15-minute consultation. Availability varies by therapist.

Do you see children, teens, couples, and families?

Yes. Our team provides counseling for children, teens, adults, couples, and families. The ages served and types of therapy offered vary by clinician.

Review the therapist’s profile or contact our team so we can help you find someone whose experience fits your needs.

What happens at the first appointment?

Your first appointment is a chance to get to know your therapist, talk about what brought you in, and discuss what you would like help with. Your therapist will ask about your concerns and relevant history, explain how sessions work, and begin exploring goals with you.

You do not need to have everything figured out. Together, you can decide on the next steps.
